CEFSAR Congratulates President Donald J. Trump, Anticipates Transformative Foreign Policy for Africa

The Centre for Food Safety and Agricultural Research (CEFSAR) extends its heartfelt congratulations to President Donald J. Trump on a most successful inauguration ceremony and day 1 as the 47th President of the United States of America.

As discussions emerge on a new policy direction for Africa encompassing food security, pesticide regulation, and the deployment of Genetically Modified Organisms (GMOs) in Africa, CEFSAR is optimistic that these policies will prioritise the safety of humanity, safeguard biodiversity, promote regenerative organic agriculture and promote public health, as against the capitalist driven monopolistic, and unhealthy drive of the USDA in partnership with the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, Rockefeller Foundation in deploying GMOs without proper risk assessment and banned agro-chemicals across Africa.

CEFSAR is prepared to collaborate with global stakeholders in supporting this visionary agenda through research, advocacy, and actionable frameworks. This anticipated foreign policy shift has the potential to create lasting partnerships and a platform for Africa’s sustainable development in agriculture and health.
Africa stands at the crossroads of opportunity, and we believe President Trump’s leadership can drive policies that empower nations across the continent to achieve food sovereignty, safeguard biodiversity, and promote public health.
